Pattern of Examination: Objective type multiple choice questions

Duration of Examination: Two hours

Total Question:  125

Marks of each question: 4 marks

Negative marking: Yes

*For every wrong answer 01 mark shall be deducted.

(1) Law Paper I: Civil Law I

Total marks: 200 marks

    1. Code of Civil procedure
    2.    Punjab Courts Act
    3.    Indian Contract Act
    4.    Indian partnership Act
    5.    Sale of Goods Act
    6.    Specific Relief Act
    7.    Indian Evidence Act
    8.    Transfer of Property Act,1882
    9.    East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act 1949

(2) Law Paper II: Civil Law II

Total marks: 200 marks

    1. Hindu Law
    2.    Mohammadan Law and Customary Law
    3.    Law of Registration
    4.    Law of Limitation

 

(3) Law Paper III: Criminal Law

Total marks: 200 marks

    1.    Indian Penal Code
    2.    Criminal Procedure Code
    3.    Indian Evidence Act



(4) Paper IV English

Total Marks: 200 marks

    1.    English Essay: 100 marks
    2.    Precise writing:  25 marks
    3.    Words and Phrases: 25 marks
    4.    Comprehension: 25 marks
    5.    Corrections: 25 marks

(5) Paper V Language: Punjabi

Total Marks: 150 marks

    1.    Punjabi Essay: 100 marks
    2.    Translation of an English passage into Punjabi, Explanation of Punjabi passage in prose and poetry in the same language, essay, idioms and corrections: (50 marks)

Total Marks: 100 marks
